Classification of the hybrid projects of motor transport enterprises and justification of their portfolio structure

Abstract

The analysis of the subject area is performed. It is established that motor transport enterprises implement hybrid projects in their activity. Such projects have their own specifics and features. Consideration of them underlies the development of tools for quality management of hybrid projects. The analysis of scientific works is executed. It is established that the tasks of classification of the hybrid projects of motor transport enterprises and their substantiation have been little considered by scientists. The proposed classification of the hybrid projects of motor transport enterprises provides their identification by ten classification criteria. The performed classification provides identification of hybrid projects and development of tools for their management. It is the basis for formation of portfolios of the hybrid projects of motor transport enterprises. Based on the proposed classification, it is possible to identify areas of research and outline the tasks. Solution of the tasks will ensure adoption of the error-free management decisions and obtaining maximum value for stakeholders. It is established that the hybrid projects of motor transport enterprises have their own features. They are reflected by the proposed classification features. Six groups of features of the hybrid projects of motor transport enterprises are defined. Taking into account these features while developing tools for managing hybrid projects will ensure the appropriate quality of their implementation and management decisions. The structure of hybrid projects of motor transport enterprises is substantiated. It ensures coordination of many hybrid projects initiated by transport service customers with the available resources of trucking companies in a predictable changing project environment. It is established that there is a need to justify and use a value-risk approach. It will ensure formation of effective portfolios of the hybrid projects of trucking companies with maximum value for all stakeholders.
